Galena is a great place to visit all year long, but the Christmas Season is by far my favorite time to be in Galena. Below are just a few upcoming holiday events planned.
The Galena Territory Holiday House Walk
Date: Dec 3 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Location: The GTA Club House
Self-guided tour of five beautiful homes decorated for the holiday season. Light refreshments and raffle will be held for unique handmade items by local crafters and quilters. Ticket sales will end at 2:30 p.m.

Christmas at the Fort
When: Dec. 3 at 12:00 p.m.
Location: Apple River Fort State Historic Site at 311 E Myrtle St, Elizabeth, IL
Cost: Free
Join costumed interpreters as they recreate Christmas at the Apple River Settlement. Early settlers will sing carols and recite poems. WEATHER PERMITTING!

30th Annual Mistletoe Ball: A Victorian Holiday Dinner and Dance
Enjoy a holiday feast and dancing to a live orchestra. Period dress and holiday attire both appropriate. Cash bar, raffle, silent auction, shuttle service.
